Eco Conscious Beauty, Health & Home: Every Woman's RightThe average woman will use 25 (to men’s 9 or 10) personal care products on herself during the course of a day (shampoo, makeup, body lotion, nail polish, mouthwash, deodorant, hair color, perfume, wrinkle cream, sunscreen, etc.), 365 days a year, year in and year out, for as long as she lives. Some of the ingredients that are allowed in our personal care products also show up in car engine degreasers, oven cleaners, and gasoline. There is no regulating body, nor ingredients labeling law to protect us. The overwhelming majority of household cleaning products are used by women – either as the homeowner herself or the cleaning help employed by the homeowner. |

Mindfulness as Good MedicineEvery day a new report surfaces to trumpet what we should all be doing to be healthier: The secret is probiotics! Turn upside down for 5 minutes every day! Vitamin D is the answer! While it’s crucial to be aware of good health habits on this level, we often times miss the deeper understanding of where good health actually comes: from an integrated, holistic approach that contains a mind/body connection, and an individual/community approach to living. Live a richer, fuller, more meaningful life now. |

A D.I.Y. EcoSpa Primer to Change your LifeTime outs are not just for bad children, but for any adult who’s overworked and stressed out. You don’t need to be a person of wealth and privilege to experience enlightened self care, just a willingness to bring it into your life. |
